Welcome to Hailogics. By engaging with our website design, development, marketing, or consulting services, you (“the client”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
Introduction
Welcome to Hailogics (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By engaging with our website design, development, marketing, or consulting services, you (“the client”) agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity and fairness while protecting the interests of both parties.
Project Scope
All projects are based on the scope of work defined in the official proposal or agreement shared with the client. Any additional features, functionality, or design changes requested after the project has begun may affect the delivery timeline and cost. We always strive to accommodate reasonable updates, but major changes will require a separate estimate or change order.
Payments & Refunds
Payments are to be made as per the milestones outlined in the agreement or invoice. Project work begins once the initial payment or deposit is received. All payments made are non-refundable, except in cases where Hailogics is unable to deliver any part of the agreed-upon work. If a project is paused for more than 14 days due to delayed client responses, we reserve the right to invoice for completed work up to that point.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure timely delivery, the client must provide all required materials — such as text, images, access credentials, and approvals — within the agreed timeframe. Delays in communication, asset delivery, or feedback from the client’s side may extend the overall project timeline without penalty to Hailogics.
Revisions & Approval
Each project includes a set number of revisions as defined in the agreement. Requests made beyond the included revision rounds will be billed separately. We encourage open communication throughout the project to ensure satisfaction before final delivery.
Timelines
While we make every effort to meet deadlines, timelines are estimates based on the current scope, client responsiveness, and third-party dependencies (such as hosting providers, APIs, or plugin approvals). We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside of our control.
Intellectual Property
Once full payment is received, ownership of the final design, website, or software deliverables transfers to the client. However, Hailogics retains the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials. Any third-party plugins, libraries, or assets remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.
Maintenance & Support
After project completion, clients are entitled to a complimentary 7-day bug-fix period. Ongoing maintenance, updates, or new feature requests beyond this period are available under a separate support agreement or hourly rate. We always aim to assist promptly, even after project completion, but cannot guarantee immediate response outside an active maintenance plan.
Hosting & Third-Party Services
Hailogics may assist clients in setting up third-party hosting, domain, or API services but does not hold responsibility for downtime, security breaches, or data loss occurring on third-party platforms. Clients are encouraged to maintain regular backups and security monitoring.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for all completed work and any expenses incurred up to the termination date.
Limitation of Liability
Hailogics will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from project work, delays, or loss of data. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question.
Confidentiality
We respect your business privacy and commit to keeping all shared information confidential unless authorized in writing by the client.
Amendments
Hailogics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website and apply to all ongoing and future projects.
